After Treatment

Even when patients have finished treatment they will still need to visit their doctor regularly, particularly for the first two years following treatment. This is because there is a small chance that the blood cancer may come back. But, if caught early enough it is fairly easy to treat again.

There is also a chance that the chemotherapy drugs used to eradicate Hodgkin lymphoma may cause some other conditions, and possibly secondary cancers, that do not develop until later on.
